Collector’s Note: I never had the opportunity to record Walter McIsaac, although I did share the stage with him once at a Folk Festival fiddle workshop. He lived in Curling, near Corner Brook, and was originally from the Codroy Valley. Walter released a record many years ago, with piano accompaniment by his daughter Marina. I have selected three tunes from that album to include here.
